The COurse
Approx. 70nm to the west of Malta lies the Island of Linosa, which marks the turning point for this record course. The course heads NW from the Valetta start line, and through the South Comino channel, before heading W to Linosa which is to be rounded to port. Heading back to Malta via the south of island leaving Filfla to port, the finish line is at the entrance of Marsamxett Harbour.
