The COurse

The Newport – Bermuda course is a historic route with teams having competed over the stretch of water since the early 1900s. Starting between Castle Hill Lighthouse and Beavertail Lighthouse teams leave Rhode Island and the US coast behind them to head South East into the Atlantic Ocean, battling the Gulf Stream before navigating the complex approach to the island of Bermuda, with its rocky outcrops and reefs to finish off St David’s Lighthouse on the North East side of the island.
