The Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600 ‘Diablo’ sailed by Nick Martin and Calanach Finlayson crossed the Course start line just after 10am on Sunday 14th November, making the most of the westerly tidal flow down to the Needles before the trip down the south side of the Island. A force 3-4 northerly wind allowed the team to sail under spinnaker off the start and sticking to the rhumb line predominantly before crossing the finish line 6hrs 25mins later at 16:34 establishing the Double Handed IRCRecord™ for the course.
